WidgetMix privacy policy
WidgetMix is an iPhone and iPad app from NEQTUS Games for building Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. It has no account, no advertising and no analytics. Your widgets and the data they show are kept on your device. This policy explains what stays on your device and what reaches another service, and when.
What stays on your device
Widgets, cards, boards, connections, the latest data each widget shows and the images you add are stored in the app’s container on your device, shared only with WidgetMix’s own widget extension. The widget extension never uses the network. We do not operate a server that receives your widgets or data, and WidgetMix does not sync them to iCloud.
Moods, habits and counters you track are stored in the same place and counted there, including when you tap a widget or answer a reminder. A photo you choose as a Lock Screen board’s wallpaper is copied into the app to draw its preview and is deleted with the board. Keys and tokens you enter for a connection are stored in your device’s Keychain. They are never written into cards, exported files or links, and the widget extension cannot read them.
Calendar, reminders, health and photos
With your permission, WidgetMix reads your upcoming events, open reminders and, from Apple Health, today’s steps and activity rings on your device to show them in your widgets. This information is not sent anywhere. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Photos you choose with Apple’s photo picker are copied into the app so a widget can show them; WidgetMix does not get access to the rest of your library. If you choose an album that updates or On This Day, WidgetMix asks for access to your photo library and reads it on your device to pick the photos; widget-sized copies are stored in the app and deleted with the widget's connection. Nothing is uploaded. Home Screen screenshots you choose for transparent backgrounds are processed on your device. The cropped pieces and the screenshot of your empty Home Screen page are stored in the app, so later widgets can be matched to your wallpaper without new screenshots.
Weather and places
Weather in WidgetMix comes from Apple Weather. To fetch it, the coordinates of the place you chose are sent to Apple. When you search for a city, what you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest places. If you choose to use your current location, WidgetMix asks for location access, reads your position once to find the place and stores only that place’s coordinates with the widget. Apple processes these requests under its privacy policy.
Describing a widget
When you describe a widget in words, the sentence is read on your device: by Apple Intelligence’s on-device model where your device supports it, otherwise by the app itself. It is not sent to us or to any server, and it is not stored after the widget is made. If the description names a place for weather, only that place name is sent to Apple Maps to find it.
Reminders
Daily reminders you turn on are scheduled by iOS on your device. They are not sent from a server, and answering one, for example choosing today’s mood, is recorded on your device. WidgetMix asks for notification permission only when you turn a reminder on.
Share links
Share Link makes a link on www.neqtus.com. A link to a Lock Screen set, a look or a design names it. A link to a widget or a board carries its designs, the words and dates you set, the sizes and the wallpaper colors, and data that is the same for everyone, such as a quote. It never carries your moods, counters, calendar, health data, photos, places, connected services, web addresses or keys: a mood or battery widget shows the receiver’s own.
What a link carries is written after the # sign, which browsers do not send, so our website never receives it. Opening a link where WidgetMix is not installed loads a page from www.neqtus.com, hosted by Vercel; like any web request, it includes your IP address and browser details, which the host keeps in its logs under its own policy. The page reads the link in your browser only to show its name.
Services you connect
When you connect a web address, Home Assistant or another service you choose, WidgetMix requests data from that address with the key you entered, along with ordinary network information such as your IP address. The operator of that service controls the information it receives. A Home Assistant dashboard reads the state of every entity from your server in one request and keeps only the ones you chose. Data sent to WidgetMix through Shortcuts stays on your device.
Importing a card from a link downloads the file named in the link after you confirm. Sharing a card exports only the card. Sharing a connection exports its web address and how its data is read, never its key or its data.
Purchases
WidgetMix Plus is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Apple processes payments; we never receive payment-card details. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings.
Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history, an anonymous identifier created by the app and the device, app and store information needed to verify and restore purchases and report on them. WidgetMix does not send your widgets, data, keys, health information, calendar, reminders, photos or location to RevenueCat.
No advertising, analytics or tracking
WidgetMix contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK and no tracking. It does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not sell or share personal information for advertising. Apple’s optional diagnostic sharing follows your device settings.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Deleting a widget or a connection in the app removes its stored data, and deleting a connection removes its key. Uninstalling WidgetMix removes the app’s local data; Keychain items can remain on the device until iOS removes them. WidgetMix changes a reminder only when you check it off in a widget, and never changes your events or health data.
If you contact us for support, we use your email address and the information you provide to respond. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request, handle follow-up issues or meet applicable legal obligations. Service providers manage their own retention under their policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request or to ask about a relevant service. We may need limited information to verify a request.
Service providers and changes
Apple, RevenueCat, Vercel for share link pages and the services you choose to connect process information under their own policies and may operate in other countries. WidgetMix does not include Firebase, advertising networks or a separate analytics SDK. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
